This 08-11 C6 Corvette TR6060 input shaft is new and fits the 2008-2011 C6 Corvette and Tremec Magnum units. The 31-tooth, 26-spline shaft is from the 2.66 first gear ratio set and uses the tapered roller input pocket bearing design. New shafts are difficult to find.

What the input shaft does

The input shaft is the main drive of the transmission. It doubles as 4th gear and splines into the clutch disc. Replace it for:

• Damaged, dull or smashed engagement teeth (grinding gears, worn synchro rings)
• An overheated input gear from low fluid or too much power
• Damaged splines or a damaged pilot bearing journal

Does not fit

• 2012-2013 C6 Corvette and 2014-2019 C7 Corvette. These switched to a straight roller bearing design, so this shaft will not work in them.

Bearings are not included

The old bearings cannot be removed without damage, so new ones are always required. This shaft uses tapered roller pocket bearing LM12749 and race LM12711. A full bearing kit already includes them. See below to purchase:
