Information collected automatically. When you use the Site, we and our service providers collect your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, links clicked, the website you came from, and the date and time. We use cookies and similar technologies for this (see Section 6). When you tick the acceptance box at checkout, we record your order number, the date, and your IP address.
Information from others. We may receive information from carriers, payment processors, fraud-screening tools, and your bank or card issuer, for example when a payment is verified or disputed.

5. International customers
TDP is in the United States, and we process and store information there. If you order from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to the United States, which may have different privacy laws than your country. We share your information with carriers, customs brokers, and customs authorities in the countries involved so that your order can be delivered and cleared.
6. Cookies, advertising, and analytics
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember settings, understand how the Site is used, and measure advertising. We use advertising tools, including the Meta (Facebook) pixel, which may collect information about your visit and share it with the provider so that we can measure results and show our ads to people who visited the Site. Some state laws treat this as “sharing” or “targeted advertising.”
You can limit this by:
- Changing your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Parts of the Site, such as the cart, may stop working.
- Using a browser or extension that sends the Global Privacy Control signal. We treat that signal as a request to opt out of targeted advertising where the law requires it.
- Adjusting your ad settings with the provider, for example in your Facebook account.
- Emailing us at sales@txdrivetrain.com to ask us to stop sharing your information for targeted advertising.
7. How long we keep information
We keep personal information as long as needed for the purposes above, including to meet legal, tax, accounting, and warranty obligations. For example, we keep order and invoice records, and the record of your acceptance of the Terms, for at least as long as the warranty and the legal time limits for claims run. After that, we delete or de-identify the information.
8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections on the Site and payment processing by third-party processors. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your choices and rights
Marketing. You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email, or reply STOP to a marketing text. We will still send order and service messages.
Your rights. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have about you and get a copy of it.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Delete your information, subject to exceptions such as the records we must keep for tax, customs, and warranty purposes.
- Opt out of targeted advertising and the sale or sharing of your personal information.
- Appeal if we deny your request.
To make a request, email sales@txdrivetrain.com or call (817) 508-8710. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will respond within the time the law requires. You will not be treated unfairly for using these rights. You may use an authorized agent to make a request for you, and we may ask for proof that they act for you.
State notices. Residents of Texas, California, and some other states have privacy rights under state law. We follow the requests described above for any customer, wherever they live. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 18.
10. Children
The Site is for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to place an order. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where the law sets that age). If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Links to other sites
The Site may link to other sites and services, such as carriers and payment processors. They have their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “effective date” above shows when it last changed. If we make a material change, we will post the new version on the Site. The policy that applies to your order is the one posted when you place it.
