What makes the TDP 85mm socket different

1. They are unnecessarily deep — our socket is extremely shallow by design, maximizing torque transfer and making installation and removal quick and efficient.
2. Most large sockets have tapered inner walls, introducing excessive clearance between the socket and nut. This allows the socket to rock under load, rounding the nut edges over time. Our socket has straight inner walls with no taper — a precise, flush fit that protects the nut and transfers torque cleanly.
3. Most sockets in this size range require a 3/4″ or 1″ drive. Ours uses the standard 1/2″ drive, compatible with virtually every torque wrench already in your shop.
