Always in stock at TDP! Get a top-quality detent bushing for your Tremec 6-speed or 7-speed Corvette C7 transmission! This shift rail bushing fits every T56, TR6060 and TR6070 transmission. See the fitment chart above for details. Interchanges with GM part number 89059427. There are three different configurations for the detent system. Corvettes all use it in the top-middle of the transmission. It’s a cover plate held in by four bolts (2 alignment pins, 2 bolts). Once the plate is removed, the detent comes right out. The next is the T56 or TR6060 that uses a separate bellhousing (you can unbolt the transmission from the back side). This style will have the detent in the top of the midplate. The third style is a TR6060 with the integrated bellhousing. This will have the detent on the top front of the bellhousing.

Location of the detent bushing
- If the unit has a separate bellhousing, the detent bushing will go into the midplate.
- If the unit has an integrated bellhousing, the detent bushing will go in the top of the bellhousing.
- Corvette transmissions have this bushing in the aluminum detent housing on top of the transmission (held in with 4 bolts)
