Why upgrade?

Under hard launches and high-torque applications, the factory C5 and C6 Corvette differential output shafts can twist and break — with the longer driver side shaft being especially susceptible. Both shafts in this kit are machined from a modified chromoly alloy that is significantly stronger and more resistant to torsional stress than the factory parts, giving you the confidence to launch hard without breaking a shaft.

Upgraded inner snap rings

Every kit ships with upgraded inner differential snap rings already included. These snap rings are significantly thicker and stronger — an upgrade in its own right that adds an additional layer of reliability to your drivetrain build.

Important fitment note for C5 owners

On 1997–2003 C5 Corvettes — and most 2004 models — the factory passenger side output shaft is forged as a single piece with the differential side gear and cannot be separated. Installing this HD shaft requires replacing the factory combined unit with a separate C6-style differential side gear. Some 2004 C5s already came with the 2-piece design — verify your configuration before ordering.
