This is the clamp that’s located under the shifter boot console area. It connects the shift rod to the shifter assembly and is held on by a T40 bolt.
Replace the easy-to-break factory cast shift linkage rod clamp with this heavy-duty billet steel part. The factory clamps are notorious for cracking when tightening the bolt, while billet steel is virtually impossible to crack.
