About Texas Drivetrain Performance
I’ve done just about everything backwards. The business began in 2003, with no organization and no plan. It started out as a hobby with me just working on cars that I liked. My favorite type of work was always the tedious jobs that most technicians preferred to avoid. It quickly evolved into a much bigger clientele and a specialized transmission & gear shop. All of this occurred without any effort put into marketing. We had no website, stickers, apparel, business cards, social media presence. We didn’t even have a sign on the building! This all changed over time
Years ago, if someone told me what this business would be today, I wouldn’t have believed it. We have a crew of seven people working in four distinctive departments (parts sales, transmission remanufacturing, custom machining, and installation) all under one roof in an 8500SF building.
