T56 Shim Kit — Input Shaft & Countershaft

If you’re rebuilding a T56 or TR6060 transmission, setting up the input shaft and countershaft bearings correctly is one of the most critical steps in the entire build process. The bearing set up isn’t the same from one rebuild to the next — which means achieving the optimal bearing specifications requires the ability to add or remove shims to dial in the exact thickness needed. That’s exactly what this T56 shim kit is designed to do.

What’s included

This kit includes two shim packs — one for the input shaft and one for the countershaft. Each pack contains enough shims in varying thicknesses to achieve virtually any total thickness required for a correct bearing setup, giving the builder the flexibility to dial in the exact specification needed for their specific transmission without sourcing individual shims separately.

Fits all T56’s and some TR6060 transmissions. See chart below
