The Magnum XL 6-speed RWD transmission is a continuation of the popular Magnum 6-speed series, derived from the OEM TR6060. Featuring the most important content from the original Magnum, the XL retains its brute strength and sophistication but eliminates its multiple shifter locations and dual speed outputs.

Factory equipment in muscle and sports cars

Initially available for the 2005 and up “S197” Mustang, the Magnum XL was specifically designed to replace the OEM 5- or 6-speed transmission when performance improvements are desired. Today, we offer the Magnum XL with a GM variant option as well.

Repositioned shifter

A rigid direct-mount shifter provides vastly improved performance and lightning-quick shifts. Refinements include a new extended-length tail section designed to eliminate the semi-remote shifter found in many popular late-model applications.
