Cadillac CTS-V Differential Bearing Kit – Version A

Includes the following:

• Differential side bearings & races
• Inner & outer pinion bearings & races
• Axle stub shaft seals
• Pinion seal
• Case o-ring

This kit fits the 04-07 Gen 1 CTS-V and the 09-14 Gen 2 CTS-V and is the most common of the three kits.

There are three different versions of bearing kits for these rear differentials. See below to verify which one you have before ordering! If you are unsure, then please reach out to us and we’ll be happy to assist.

CTS-V Bearing Kit Identification Chart

1. Go underneath the car to check if you can physically see the pinion seal at the front of the differential assembly

• If you can see it, then it’s likely the larger 4 3/8″ seal
• If you cannot see the seal because it’s blocked by the pinion yoke dust shield, then it’s likely the smaller 3 3/8″ seal

2. Using a tape measure, check the O.D. (outside diameter) of the seal to verify the approximate size

• If it measures 3 3/8″, then “Version A” is the correct Bearing Kit
• If it measures 4 3/8″, then “Version B” or “Version C” will be the correct kit depending on the amount of bolt holes the yoke has. See below
• Version A has a 3 3/8″ pinion seal
• Version B has a 4 3/8″ pinion seal with a 3-bolt yoke
• Version C has a 4 3/8″ pinion seal with a 6-bolt yoke
