Failing Master or Slave Cylinder?
Sometimes your master or slave master cylinder will become faulty or begin to fail. Knowing the warning signs is critical to avoid further damage. If you’ve experienced any of the below problems, then it is time to replace it as soon as possible.
Signs of a Bad Clutch Slave Cylinder:
Clutch drops all the way to the floor
Gears are hard to shift
Gears grind while shifting
Loose clutch pedal
Inability to switch gears
Signs of a Bad Clutch Master Cylinder:
Grinding between shifts
Pedal stuck to the ground
Soft clutch pedal
Clutch engagement point has changed
